How to Dab On The Go Like a Pro 420 Culture

Though there are many ways to consume cannabis, perhaps one of the most innovative seems to be dabbing, or consuming concentrated cannabis from a hot surface. Dabbing has become increasingly popular as a way of feeling desired effects quickly, and can be done using any number of cool dab rigs and accessories.

But glass dab rigs aren’t exactly conducive to a portable toking experience. Not only is there the rig itself, but there’s the nail (or banger), the dabber, the torch, and a carb cap – all necessary to dab effectively. And, while you could pack it all into a pelican case or secure stash bag, there are more convenient ways to dab on the go. If you’re ready to take your concentrate capabilities on the road, then this post is for you.

Electric Nails

First thing’s first: get rid of that torch. Sure, the torch is great for backwoods adventures when electricity is not available, but butane does not have the temperature control capabilities – or the endurance – of an electric nail. Some portable versions allow you to heat the nail from a battery making the search for an outlet less daunting, but will eventually need to be charged to keep the party going.

For partygoers who want to get the whole crew super stoned, an e-nail is the way to go.

Portable E-Rigs

Portable dab rigs, or e-rigs, marry the convenience of vaporizer pens with the awesome flavor of dabs, albeit at a lesser extent than a full-blown set-up. Due to the size of the nail and chamber of an e-rig, you’ll never be able to achieve the full-bodied, thick smoke of a fat dab.

E-rigs are the perfect travel companions and pack quite the punch!

Nevertheless, many e-rigs feature awesome attachments and powerful, temperature-controlled batteries that make portable dabbing just as rewarding as table-top set-ups including stylish glass mouthpieces, bubbler attachments, and much more. Our buddies at Dabado Vaporizers have an excellent selection of portable dab rigs, pens, and accessories to get you going strong.

Nectar Collectors

Stylish and convenient, nectar collectors are designed to allow users to rip a quick dab on the go. These hand-held wands just need to be heated on one end using a blow torch then touched directly to the oil or concentrate to take a pull.

They work in a similar fashion as the old “knife hits” during which butter knives are heated on an electric stove then pressed against little bits of bud. Of course, there are a few required tools to use these handy portable dabber (like a torch, a dab mat, and some high-quality concentrates), but the convenience coupled with the relatively low start-up cost of a nectar collector or dip stick is definitely worth it. And for those interested in adding to their collection of pot paraphernalia, nectar collectors come in lots of amazing designs, too!

Vaporizer Pens for Concentrates

Portable vaporizers are probably the easiest way to dab on the go, though they simply aren’t powerful enough to deliver the same giant plumes of smoke that an actual rig can. Vape pens serve an important function as a quick, discrete way to medicate with concentrates (and even flower in some cases) just about anywhere.

The price range for vape pens varies depending on many factors. For example, some cannabis product distributors sell pre-filled vape cartridges requiring only that a $10-dollar battery be purchased along with it. Others, which require you to fill your own cartridge or tank, can range from $30 for a Kandy Pen setup to upwards of a few hundred dollars for more advanced, temperature-controlled pens. We recommend checking all specifications prior to purchasing a vape pen as the features (including battery life, cartridge size, temperature control settings, and smart phone access) vary greatly between products and brands.

Dabbing cannabis concentrates provides a powerful cannabis experience that hits hard and lasts for hours. Whether you’re new to the world of dabs or are a seasoned expert, once you discover the awesome flavor and powerful high that dabs provide, it’ll be hard to leave your experience at home. Fortunately, there are some great ways to dab on the go that offer an affordable alternative to more traditional, table-top rigs.
